A private Real Estate Development and Investment Company, Florentine Holding Company, LLC invests in both improved real estate and land development opportunities to create and capture value. Our focus is on distressed real estate opportunities, while maintaining a long term commitment to development projects in New Jersey, Florida, Georgia and Virginia.
We specialize in turn around projects in the multi family, retail, and self-storage asset classes, in addition to land entitlements, development and warehousing facilities; creating capital appreciation through repositioning, restructuring and intensive management.
To date, our repositioning projects have yielded increased asset appreciation averaging over 35%.
As award winning developers, we have spearheaded entitlement projects in redevelopment zones, received awards for best commercial development projects.
With access to several perm, bridge and mezzanine funding sources as well as private investors and our own capital resources, Florentine Holding Company, LLC anticipates cautious, yet aggressive growth over the next few years with the predominate focus on repositioning distressed income producing assets.
As company President and Managing Member, Joe is responsible for identifying new acquisitions, raising capital, securing financing, establishing and overseeing the implementation and execution of both the project and the company’s business plans. Joe is an award winning developer, seasoned real estate investor and licensed realtor since 1979.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Tiffany Tyree is responsible for the company’s accounting and financial functions for the multifamily, commercial real estate, insurance and realty divisions. Tiffany works diligently with each division's Vice President to offer owners both stability and consistency in the form of monthly reports, expenditure reviews, and more so that owners always have the most current reporting. She has also initiated accounting program platform migrations as well as integrating multiple management platforms with accounting software to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Before joining Florentine Holdings in 2012, Tiffany worked as a tax analyst in the corporate tax department for a Fortune 50 company. Prior to that, she was a tax advisor at the largest consulting firm for private business aircraft taxation. Tiffany earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and met her 150-hr requirement at Florida Gulf Coast University and is a Florida licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
As Vice president, Don maximizes the companies’ growth and profitability of its assets while leading and managing all company operations and functions. In addition he is continually implementing profitable short- and long-term projects and evaluating processes to optimize work flow. He also consistently implements plans to control budget spending, labor efficiency, material efficiency, and customer service efficiency. He also reviews performance against operating plans, analyze market conditions and approve changes in plan directions.
With 20 years’ experience in the business industry and 8 years in the self-storage industry, One of Don’s major roles in acquiring additional self-storage properties while implementing additional ways to strategically put the company’s self-storage facilities currently owned at the top in their markets. This is done by developing and implementing marketing programs using fresh, new ideas and technology to increase occupancy and tenant retention.
Don is also a Florida licensed Real Estate agent with Florentine Holding’s sister company City of Palms Realty. He is the current President of the Cedar Key RV Resort Cooperation, which is the Cooperation that controls the Cedar Key RV Resort that the company owns. Don is looking forward to growing the company by increasing the company’s assets in the commercial sector.
As Vice President, Joey is responsible for the company's commercial and residential property management. Joey's day to day tasks include the lease up of existing properties, tenant relations, creating the concepts for property improvements and new construction. Joey is also the Broker of record for Florentine Holding's sister company City of Palms Realty. It is here where new properties identified, investor proformas are created, and growth opportunities are defined.
Joey spent most of his younger years assisting his father in land acquisitions, development and strategic marketing. He is a graduate from Manhattan College, New York with a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Management. Soon after graduating, he launched his career with Living Real Estate Group Manhattan, NY. In his time there, Joe has expanded his knowledge not only in residential and commercial real estate but also property management.
Joey is a licensed Realtor in both the state of Florida and New York. He continues to focus his attention on Real Estate Development, Planning, Brokerage Sales and Property Management. As a founding member of the City of Palms Realty, he looks forward to being an integral part of the resurging growth of Southwest Florida.
Director of Public Relations
As director of public relations, Judy handles government entitlements at the local level in order to move projects forward to completion. She continues to pursue her real estate career in real estate development. Judy comes to the Florentine Holding Company with many years of experience in the real estate business in both New Jersey and Southwest Florida. A real estate paralegal by trade, she worked for the City of Fort Myers for eleven years managing City owned properties leased to private and non-profit tenants in addition to property management. She acquired land for city related projects and sold city properties to private entities. Most recently, she was instrumental in the newly completed Downtown Fort Myers-Lee County Library; a four year project with a 17 million dollar budget. Judy is a graduate of Pace University, a licensed Paralegal from Rutgers University and Licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Florida.
Operations Manager (Multifamily Projects)
As Operations Manager, Jeff demonstrates his time management skills and vast construction knowledge on a daily basis. His skills range from complete project renovations to a simple maintenance call. Jeff organizes and oversees sub contractors and assures proper permitting and governmental compliance. He is aggressive and ensures that each renovation project is completed on time and on budget.
As Property Manager, Lindsey is responsible for managing several properties with a total of 122 residential units. Working in our residential rental office she handles tenants from start to finish, advertising and showing, lease signing and rent collection as well as tenant relations and retention. Lindsey’s goals are to maximize profits as well keep tenants happy and our local reputation outstanding.
